Too hot

Right now, it is 1:11 pm and guess how hot it is...100 degrees. Yes, it is April 20 and it's already that hot. I don't know what we are going to do this summer when it is like 115+. Even now, turning on the stove or oven to make dinner is torture because it makes the kitchen so hot. Trent really needs to get a different job so we can move back to Idaho.

Another Ultrasound

So it's been over a month since I have posted anything, and this baby is part of the reason for that. I have been really tired over the last month or so and have used a lot of my free time to sleep or just veg. I am almost twelve weeks along now, and I am starting to feel better. I am little less tired and don't get nauseated too much. I was starting to feel sick around seven or eight weeks, but I figured out that if I eat when I start to get hungry then I don't get very nauseous. The annoying part of that, though, is that I have been hungry so much, even in the middle of the night. I don't want to eat then; I just want to sleep. So sometimes I have to get up and eat something so that I can go back to sleep. Also, I can't even make it through all three hours of church without getting hungry, and that's when I eat right before church. Anyway, I am almost to the second trimester, and I usually feel better in the fourth month. I really can't complain too much because it hasn't been that bad at all. So on Tuesday, I went to the doctor, and they did another quick ultrasound. I wasn't expecting that, but I guess it's because I was only six weeks at my last appointment. For this one, I was eleven weeks, and I can tell that the baby has definitely gotten bigger. I still don't look pregnant at all, and I can't feel the baby yet so it's good to see this and know that it's growing.
