Christmas Fun

This year we made a gingerbread house again, but I decided that I would actually let the kids decorate it. I helped with the frosting, but they mostly did the candy decorating themselves. They each got to do one side of the roof and then whatever else they wanted on the sides. Jade decorated the right side of the roof, and Brooke did the left. After Christmas, we are going to eat it. That's what Brooke wants to do, but no thank you for me.

Brooke's school had a little Christmas program where each grade sang a Christmas song. Kindergarten did "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." This isn't a great picture, but this is what we have. We made the mistake of getting to the program about fifteen minutes before it started so all the seats were filled and we had to stand on the side in the back. Thankfully, the program was less than an hour. Brooke is the fifth child from the left in the back row.
